August 25, 2007

Hello there everyone, I hope this finds you all having a great day. We made it back from our trip to Rosemary and are relaxing before things start to get crazy again. My classes start on Monday and I am looking forward to finishing up my last year of school. Matthew and Shanny
start back in school in the beginning of September and I can't believe that Matthew will be in the 2nd grade. Shanny is finishing up preschool and they are both doing wonderfully and we are grateful that they have such caring and awesome teachers and therapists. We are so proud of them and thankful for their progression. It has been a great blessing in our lives to live here in Missoula for many different reasons. The trip up to Alberta was great. I met up with Kristen in Lethbridge to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. Grandma and Grandpa were nice enough to watch the kids for us so that we could go on a nice date. We had a fabulous dinner at the greatest Chinese restaurant in the world. Yep, the Dynasty is the place to go. Afterwards we did a little shopping and then took a stroll around a park. It was nice to relax and spend some time together and talk about the memories that the past 9 years has brought. We also got the chance to go and see the movie, "The Bourne Ultimatume," which was great. Spending time in Rosemary was very relaxing and it was nice to visit and hang out with everyone. I got to play golf with David, Mom, and Big brother Reid which is always a good time, and we spent an afternoon at Newell Lake in Brooks having a picnic and swimming. A couple of my favorite things about visiting Rosemary is eating popcorn and watching movies on the big screen and all of the delicious food that we get to eat. It was great to see how well Oliver, Shanny, and Matthew played and got along together. This afternoon we walked downtown and picked up some fresh veggies and fruit from the Farmers Market they put on every Saturday and then we took the kids out to one of our favorite spots here in Missoula, The White Water Bar and Grill. After Lunch we went on a little drive up into the mountains to see if we could find a waterfall that someone told us about. We were eventually able to find what we were looking for and it was absolutely beautiful. It is called Skolkoho Falls about an hour and a half outside of Missoula. We also saw a little gardener snake slithering along the dirt road. Kristen was getting sweaty palms on the way up the tiny dirt road that had a great view of a very steep drop off the higher we went. The drive back down wasn't as bad. Life is fabulous and this summer has been a lot of fun. I was able to go on a camping trip with two of my brothers at Salmon Lake outside of Missoula. It was a great time and we all got sunburns, but ate great and slept to little. Well, we are looking forward to the Fall and the many adventures that await. We love you all and appreciate all that you do for us. Have a fabulous day and talk to you later.
